1. What Sadouak is
Sadouak is a marketplace. We introduce customers to independent service providers in Laos and give both sides the tools to arrange, track and confirm a job. We do not perform the services ourselves, and providers are not our employees. The agreement to carry out a job is between the customer and the provider.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or over to use Sadouak. Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
3. Bookings
When you book a service, you are making a request to that provider. A booking is confirmed once the provider accepts it. Prices shown are set by the provider. If the work turns out to be different from what was described, either side may agree a revised price before continuing, or cancel.
4. Payment
Customers pay providers directly, in cash or through the Sadouak wallet. Both sides confirm the payment in the app, which gives each of you a record of what was paid and when. Sadouak does not take payment on a provider's behalf unless a service explicitly says otherwise.
5. Cancellation
Either side may cancel a booking before the work begins. Please cancel as early as you can — a provider who has travelled to you has lost time they cannot recover. Repeated late cancellations may lead to an account being suspended.
6. Providers
Providers are reviewed by our team before their listing goes live. Providers are responsible for the quality and legality of the work they do, for holding any licence their trade requires, and for their own tax obligations.
7. Conduct
Do not use Sadouak to break the law, to harass or threaten anyone, to post false reviews, to impersonate someone, or to arrange anything unsafe or illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
8. Reviews
Reviews should describe your genuine experience of a job you actually booked. We may remove reviews that are abusive, untrue, or written to manipulate a provider's rating.
9. Our responsibility
We work to keep Sadouak running and accurate, but we do not guarantee the availability, quality, safety or legality of any service booked through it — that responsibility rests with the provider. To the extent Lao law allows, Sadouak is not liable for losses arising from a job arranged through the platform. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Sadouak after that means you accept the updated terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Lao PDR.
